Today is the first day of Summer, but what about all the people in jail and prison? They can't even go outside or feel a breeze. Many in jail and prison have a mental illness and they do not receive treatment. Many are survivors of severe abuse and used drugs to curtail the symptoms of PTSD. But they never received healthcare or proper treatment. If the drug you need is not represented by a lobbyist on capital Hill then I guess you can go to jail for a long time. Unless you have a lot of money like George Bush, who did a lot of drugs but no time. Our incarceration industry is an affront to the American citizens, It should end.
